Flying turtles, sea canines and sticks – and naturally massive of a wide variety: masses of dragons rose to mild blue sky above Tempelhofer Feld on Saturday. The organizers of the town gala’s of the enormous dragon estimated that greater than 100,000 guests appeared on the spectacle throughout the day.

It was once already the 12th version of the pageant, as introduced spokesman Frank Hadamczik. Greater than 80 skilled dragons pilots had been there with a hand large kite, together with groups from Thailand, Italy and Eire. The largest dragon was once a 30 sq. dwarf of one,800 sq. meters of fabric. As well as, youngsters and households would let their dragons decelerate. “What began in 2012. The largest family festival in Berlin has been in Berlin for several years,” Hadamczik mentioned.
