Kiel is likely one of the six towns that have been declared climate-active municipalities this 12 months. The state capital gained an award price 40,000 euros for the isolation of a small residential space with 100 indexed properties in a row from 1938, the Federal Ministry of the Surroundings introduced. Eisenach (Thuringia), Greven (North Rhine-Westphalia), Gudensberg (Hesse), the district of Neumarkt within the Higher Palatinate (Bavaria) and the capital of Baden-Württemberg, Stuttgart, additionally gained the award.
