Stephanpoulos, who reportedly made up to $18 million per year in his previous contract, was at the center of a defamation suit that was settled with Trump last week, but reports say the timing between the settlement and his new contract were coincidental. Variety reported that Stephanopolous was “blindsided” by his bosses’ decision to settle the defamation lawsuit and that he was “unhappy” with the result. Network insiders had cast uncertainty whether the settlement would impact Stephanopoulos’ future at ABC, according to Variety’s report. Sie enthält etliche Fotos, auf denen vor allem Prominente zu sehen sind sowie zahlreiche Szenen voller “Erotik, Haut und hoher Schuhe” wie es Expertin Dr. Bianca Berding formuliert. Zum anderen aber vor allem wegen der Tatsache, dass Händlerin Susanne Steiger exakt dieses Buch zwei Tage zuvor erwähnt habe, sagt ihr Händlerkollege Fabian Kahl. Schon immer habe sie genau dieses Werk gesucht. Kurz darauf geht es Schlag auf Schlag. Alle bieten mit. Zunächst geht es zaghaft mit 1000 Euro los. Kurz danach wird der obere Expertisenpreis und gleichzeitig die Wunschsumme Balders von 4000 Euro überschritten und dann ist Händlerin Susanne Steiger noch mal dran. Glatte 5000 Euro bietet sie für das riesige Buch und gewinnt damit gegen alle anderen. Ihr entfährt ein “Ja!” und ihr ganzes Gesichts strahlt wie ein Leuchtbogen. Bei der Geldübergabe an Hugo Egon Balder scheinen ihr gar einige Glückstränen zu kommen.Balder setzt sodann noch einen drauf: Die Verkaufssumme komme nicht ihm persönlich zugute, wie er erklärt, sondern einem sozialen Projekt. Das “Kinderhospiz Sternbrücke” in Hamburg darf sich über eine weihnachtliche Unterstützung freuen. Balder hilft laut der Homepage des Hospizes der Einrichtung regelmäßig und sorge dadurch dafür, die Arbeit des Projektes bekannter zu machen. Dies gelang Balder nun einmal mehr. Welch weihnachtlich-wundervolles Ergebnis einer besonderen “Bares für Rares”-Ausgabe.
