The teach line between Marktredwitz (Wunsiedel district in Fichtelgebirge) and Weiden (Weiden district in Higher Palatinate) is recently closed and there are cancellations and delays. Regional trains RE 2 and RE 41 at the path between Hof Hbf and Schwandorf in each instructions have been affected, DB Regio Bayern stated. The Oberpfalzbahn line runs at the path and could also be affected.

The cause of the closure is a tree within the trail space. The path has been closed since midday. It’s unclear when the blockade may well be lifted.
