Thunderstorm warnings issued for large parts of UK after soaring temperatures

Lightning strikes over Poole harbour in Dorset as thunderstorms swept across parts of south west England after much of the country basked in sunshine and clear skies for the last few days.




Severe weather warnings for thunderstorms have been issued for large parts of the UK after temperatures soared this weekend.
