Für Israels Verteidigungsminister Joav Gallant existiert die Hamas als militärische Formation nicht mehr. Der Luftangriff im Gazastreifen galt laut Armee einer Reihe ranghoher Hamas-Terroristen. Das UNRWA beschuldigt Israel derweil, einen Polio-Konvoi blockiert zu haben.
